Stressed? Need some head space? .... WALK!

So over the past few weeks, even months, my life has been very chaotic and stressful like the majority of the population. Sometimes the only thing that helps me get a grip of the situation and take a step back is pounding the streets, parks, riverside. It can be a short walk or even miles (I walked a marathon one day!) it just helps. Releasing good endorphins and setting me up for a good nights sleep.

Stress, work, juggling children ... just life, can make you anxious, your adrenal functions can become depleted leaving you tired and irritable, your diet can be effected and your motivation can decline. This is the absolute best time to get those trainers on. Even if you cannot make it to a class or the gym, get out and walk .... its free and easy. Grab your headphones and get those steps in .....

It is recommended that you should do at least 30 mins of exercise per day. The perfect opportunity to head out for some fresh air and just walk. Discover new places, have time to yourself, or take the dog, kids, even drag along friends!
